Lutavit® K3 MSB is suitable for use in all types of feed. In certain mixtures, relatively high vitamin K3 losses can occur depending on their composition (for example high trace element content, alkaline constituents and in particular moisture) and the production and storage conditions (pelleting, action of heat, moisture, time).

Physiological importance:

Vitamin K is involved in the cellular metabolism and catalyzes in the liver the formation of several proteins important for blood clotting, among others prothrombin. Prothrombin is converted into the clotting enzyme thrombin with the participation of the proteins mentioned and other substances.
