Lutein is approved for use as a food colorant and as a nutritional ingredient in most countries.
Stability
The product is stabilized with tocopherol (E307), sodium ascorbate (E301), and ascorbyl palmitate. Stored in its original packaging at room temperature (max. 25 °C), the product is stable for at least 36 months.
